Applications are invited for one postdoctoral
research associate position in lattice gauge theory in the Fall of
2010. The initial appointment is for two years.
The position is funded by a Marie-Curie program
of the European Union.
The network involves leading QCD groups in
Europe, such as the Universities of Regensburg, Bielefeld,
Edinburgh, Madrid, Graz and Trinity College.
The group at the University of Cyprus is carrying
out hadron structure calculations using twisted mass fermions as
part of the European Twisted Mass Collaboration and dynamical domain
wall fermions. It has also also pioneered perturbative calculations
of renormalization constants.
Another line of research investigates SU(N) gauge
theories at large N.
Each application should include a curriculum
vitae, a description of research interests and a list of
publications. Candidates should also have three letters of reference
sent to Prof. Constantia Alexandrou. For full consideration, the
applications should be sent by Monday 21st Dec.
2009. Electronic applications are preferred and
should be sent to email@example.com. The position will remain open
until a suitable candidate is identified.
If email cannot be used the applications should
be sent to:
